Questions & Answers
How long are they?
23 inches, an ultra-long cuff that covers the forearm rather than stopping at the wrist. The length is the protection: it keeps teeth and claws away from the part of your arm an animal can actually reach.
What animals are they for?
Dogs, cats and reptiles. They are made for handling animals that bite or scratch during restraint, grooming or veterinary work.
What are they made of?
Thick cowhide leather. Leather is what stops a bite from reaching skin, which knit or fabric gloves cannot do.
Are they bite proof?
They are bite-resistant, not bite proof. Thick cowhide and the long cuff substantially reduce the risk of injury, and no glove removes it entirely.
What size are they?
One size.
What comes in the box?
One pair, orange and green, one size.
Why does the stitching matter?
The seams are stitched with Kevlar. Thread is the weak point on a leather glove under a bite, and Kevlar holds where ordinary thread gives.
Are they double layered?
Yes, double-layer leather construction.
