Stiffer than my cowhide pair but they hold up
Picked these up to try after my regular cowhide pair finally gave out. The synthetic is stiffer than real leather at first but they don't get rigid over time the way cowhide does once you sweat through them. Used them on MIG for a couple of weeks. No spatter through, no abrasion at the palm so far. The yellow color shows wear less than my brown pair too.

High vis on a busy jobsite
I weld on a commercial construction site where visibility matters. Most welding gloves are dark and disappear when you set them down. Picked the yellow ones because they're easy to spot if I drop them on a stair pan or near a pour. Functionally they handle stick welding fine, and the visibility is a real safety bonus.

First real pair after kids gloves
I just started welding classes and the instructor said my generic work gloves weren't going to cut it. These were recommended in a Facebook group for new welders. Adjustable strap helps because most welding gloves are too loose for me. Used them at school on MIG and they fit well, stayed cool, and the wrist strap kept them from slipping off when I reach.

Decent for stick, took a week to break in
Bought these for stick welding on a metal building project. The synthetic was stiff for the first few days but loosened up after a week of use. No burn through on the palm even with overhead rod work. I prefer real cowhide personally but these are a fair alternative if you want something that doesn't soak up sweat the way leather does.

Adjustable strap was the selling point
I have carpal tunnel issues and most welding gloves either pinch my wrist or slide around. The adjustable strap on these lets me snug them down to where they don't move but I'm not cutting off circulation. Used them on light fab work and TIG tacking. Not as flexible as a dedicated TIG glove but the fit is the best I've had on any welding pair.

Use them more for grilling than welding now
Bought these intending to weld with them but ended up using them more on my offset smoker. The wrist strap keeps them locked on when I'm reaching deep into a hot grate. The yellow color shows the soot less than I expected. Heat resistance is solid for handling a chimney starter or a hot Dutch oven on the grill.

Good for production but I miss some dexterity
Used these on a pipe job. Synthetic material is consistent which is nice for production welding because you know what you're getting. I miss the dexterity my older goatskin pair had for tack work but for the rod runs these are fine. The reinforced palm patches really do hold up.

First good welding gloves I've owned
I weld in my garage on weekends. Cheap work gloves were burning through every couple of months. These have lasted six months and look like they have plenty left. The adjustable strap fits over a long sleeve in winter which is something my old pair couldn't do. The white lining on the back is the only thing I'd skip if I could; it shows shop dirt fast.

Runs large, otherwise OK
Ordered these in Large and they run noticeably bigger than my other welding gloves in the same size. I have medium-large hands and the fingertips have extra room which makes picking up filler rod awkward. Quality of the gloves is fine but the sizing should be checked before ordering. I would have returned them but I already wore them once and didn't want to deal with the return.
