Excellent welding gloves, true to size

I have been doing MIG and stick welding for years and these are some of the best gloves I have used. The cowhide is thick and durable, the long cuff covers my forearm completely when I am reaching into tight spots. Heat resistance is solid, no burn-through during long sessions. The kevlar stitching has held up after months of regular use. Fit is true to size for a large hand. Worth the price.

Holds up to forge work

I do hobby blacksmithing on weekends and these gloves take the heat from the forge well. Palms are double layer so I can grip hot tongs without feeling it through. Mine got a little stiff after I sweated through them in summer but loosened up after a couple sessions.

Good for thick work, too bulky for TIG

I bought these without checking and they're way too thick for the TIG work I do most days. Tried them anyway and could barely feel the torch. That said, when I switched to MIG on the same job they were excellent. Lesson learned, these are for the heavy stuff.
